I have just found this great forum, I thought I was alone in collecting Solari, Boselli, Bodet etc flap clocks, but clearly I am not.
The only problem I can see it that I don't know any Italian, so I can only enjoy the photos, or use Google translation.

My name is Rob, I live in the UK.
Ive had an interest in clocks since I was a kid (very many years ago). I collect industrial master and slave clocks, but have a passion for flap clocks.
I have been a collector of flap clocks for a few years now, I have a Solari CP2, Cifra 5, Boselli Icon 20, Calenda 20, Calenda 30 and various Bodet clocks, a calendar clock also Graysons.
They don't seem to be very common here in the UK and tend to be difficult to find.
I think my next clock to buy will be a Cifra 12 maybe, though I was tempted by a Cifra 23 I was recently offered, but it is far too big!
